"Looking For Loopholes"

So answered W. C. Fields when caught late in life why he was reading a Bible.

In the case of the Kennedy McCain amnesty bill, the entire thing is a loophole, ripped right into the US border. However, Sen. Jeff Sessions has identified
20 specific loopholes in the amnesty legislation.

One that jumps out at me is that the tough Visa program that was supposed to be in place by 2005 to keep visitors (like some of the 9/11 terrorists) from overstaying their visas is not part of the "grand compromise." This isn't a NEW promise. It's yet another old promise, still unkept, by the same government that keeps saying "trust me, trust me" when it comes to enforcing immigration law in the future.
